Owner & Founder, RMT

Ollivor (Olli) Dickson

Owner and Founder of Epoch Integrated Health, Ollivor (Olli) Dickson is a second-generation massage therapist who graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2019. Growing up in the Okanagan, Olli grew up playing high-level sports before leaving home at age 16 to pursue a 5-year junior hockey career that landed him in the WHL, AJHL, and KIJHL. Following his hockey career, Olli turned to managing, coaching, and scouting in the junior hockey ranks. Olli attributes his success at the rink to massage therapy as a recovery method for training and injuries he sustained over the course of his career.

In 2018, Olli moved from the South Okanagan to the Lower Mainland to pursue his passion for massage therapy. During his time in school, Olli worked in many different areas of practice, some of which included Friends for Life Society in Vancouver, Canucks Place, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, and Last Door Recovery Centre. Olli is trained in Swedish Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, Sports Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release, Joint mobilization as well as Pregnancy Massage.

Olli believes in a holistic and hands-on approach when helping his patients improve their quality of life. To help his patients achieve their treatment goals Olli incorporates active homecare modalities into his treatment plans. Olli also incorporates active, passive, and resisted ranges of motion into his practice with the hopes of maintaining or enhancing his patient’s mobility.

With a patient-focused approach Olli’s treatments start with a thorough assessment of his patients, this allows for Ollivor to find the best treatment plan for that particular treatment with the patient’s consent. During treatment time Olli continuously assesses and re-assesses his patient in order to confirm said treatment plan is working. After treatment, Olli then reassesses his patients and prescribes them with homecare modalities as previously mentioned. Olli’s area of focus has been treating patients with acute, chronic pain and dysfunction, and he also has had experience working with both amateur and professional athletes throughout his career.

Ollivor’s approach to therapy is to treat the body as a whole, not just addressing the immediate symptoms, in order to facilitate healing at the origin of the problem. Olli is a passionate and caring person as he helps his patients embark on their healing journeys.

Massage Therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.

Candace Racanelli

My interest in becoming a RMT stemmed from personally benefiting from massage therapy. Massage helped me as I trained for a half marathon and overcame an MVA injury. Such experiences motivated me to learn how I could help others prevent and recover from injuries and meet their personal goals.

I believe that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself. My goal is to determine the underlying issue through clinical assessment and to make corrections through clinical treatment and home care such as strengthening exercise, stretch and hydrotherapy.

I work with each patient, creating an individualized treatment plan, and view the recovery process as a team effort. I believe effective massage therapy can provide lasting change for a healthier you. I work with your individual needs and goals so you can be at your best!

Candace is a graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour Registered Massage Therapy program. She is also certified in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT), Lymph taping and Graston’s technique.

Registered Physiotherapist

Stephen Yewchyn

Hey, I’m Stephen!

I am a warm and welcoming person first, and a professional physiotherapist second.

I have a Masters of Physical Therapy, a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and vast experience working as a personal trainer. I pride myself on being a lifelong learner. Since graduating in 2018, I have been certified in: Sports injury taping, Vestibular Therapy (dizziness-related disorders), concussion management, and Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy level 1.

My personal training experience and knowledge in strength and conditioning is always on display in my physiotherapy practice, as I believe in a balanced treatment approach focused on functional exercise and programming. I bring enthusiasm and optimism to the table as your physiotherapist and look forward to applying more than six years of schooling into practice.

I was fortunate enough to spend the past 2.5 years gaining work and life experience in New Zealand. This international experience opened my eyes to different training and rehab styles. As a regionally recognized senior therapist in New Zealand, I split my time between a boxing gym, and an all-boys high school, working primarily with high-level and nationally recognized athletes

I was born and raised in rural Manitoba. My rural upbringing instilled a deep love of nature, wildlife, and the great outdoors – and it continues to shape who I am today. When I’m not working or weight training, I enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and playing any individual/team sport there is.

As your physiotherapist, I will actively listen and allow you to be an active member in your rehabilitation process, whether that means providing space for you to voice your concerns or making sure you’re comfortable enough to ask questions. I’m not here to tell you what you have to do; I’m here to provide options and guidance for your treatment. This is your rehabilitation. Together, we can move towards progress and get you back to the things you love.

She was able to witness first-hand the benefits osteopathic treatment could have on athletes and individuals struggling with a variety of aches and discomforts. Her passion for health ultimately lead her to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Western University in London, Ontario. Following this, she strived to continue her knowledge of anatomy and physiology and went on to complete a Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario. Cole took part in many sports growing up, primarily baseball and hockey at competitive levels. At the age of 17, Cole competed for Team BC in baseball and represented at the national stage in Quebec. While studying Kinesiology, he developed a passion for using his experiences to help others grow and develop beyond their own injuries through active rehabilitation, just as he was able to.

Utilizing a whole-body approach, Cole finds the muscular deficiencies which are functionally limiting someone, and works to strengthen and rebalance the body to create a stronger base, and a more functional body. Along with educating on form and posture, anatomical alignment, and mobilization training, this approach helps people feel more confident and comfortable.

Cole enjoys working with anyone who is looking to improve themselves! Whether it is rehabilitative, athletic training, weight loss, or anywhere in between; Cole enjoys finding what drives someone and helping them utilize that in their journey.
