IV Therapy

IV Therapy at Epoch

Intravenous (IV) therapy is a safe and efficient way to administer high doses of nutrients like vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids straight to the bloodstream while bypassing the digestive system. This allows for faster and more adequate nutrient absorption directly into the cells. Suitable candidates for IV therapy are those who are looking for:

  • Dehydration relief
  • Treatment of nutrient deficiencies (in conditions like Celiac Disease, Irritable Bowel Disease, SIBO, etc.)
  • Supporting the body’s detoxification system
  • Antioxidant support
  • Increasing energy levels
  • Easing anxiety and mood support
  • Promoting relaxation
  • Promoting cardiovascular health
  • Athletic optimization

Getting Started with IV Therapy

At Epoch, the IVs will be administered by a Registered Naturopathic Physician whose top priority is safety and patient comfort. A thorough assessment is needed before IV treatment to allow for the doctor to determine whether this form of therapy is the best treatment option. In addition, the assessment allows for the doctor to customize the therapy to the individual needs of the patient. After the intake and quick administration, the patient is able to sit back in our relaxing IV suite while the IV drips usually between 30-45 minutes.
